Community Recycling

newspapers

According to the AF&PA trade association, 87 percent of the U.S. population, or 268 million people, have access to curbside or drop-off recycling programs. This was an important factor in surpassing the industry goal of recovering 60% of paper consumed in the U.S. In 2009 a record 63.4% of U.S. paper was recovered.

At American Recycling, we still maintain an open-to-the-community door trade facility, taking all paper products, including but not limited to: Newspaper, OCC (Cardboard), Mix paper, Phone books, CBS (coated book stock) OP (office pak).

Door Trade Hours are 7:30 to 4:30.
